Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 head cauliflower
- 1 Tbsp oil
- salt and pepper
- 1-2 tsp garlic powder
Steps:
- Trim the base of the cauliflower so it can stand up nicely on its own. Place in a pot and add 2 inches of water. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for about 12-14 minutes.
- Remove cauliflower from pot and allow to drain. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place cauliflower on a greased baking sheet. Brush with oil, then sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder all over.
- Roast in oven for about 20-25 minutes, until edges are crispy. Serve immediately.

Looks delicious! I have used a roasted head of cauliflower like this as a base for a creamy soup. I just put it in a blender and added broth or cream.
