I have a Mastercut riding lawnmower with a Tecumseh 12.5hp engine. It keeps cutting off after running for 15-20 minutes. Then it starts right back up and does it again. If I catch it before it shuts off I can keep it running with the choke. I replaced the carburetor, it's brand new. Does anybody have any ideas?

Call some businesses who specialize in small engine repair, you might be able to find the answer to your question.

I have a John Deere stx38 lawn tractor. The engine runs fine, but as soon as I let out the clutch or engage the blades it shuts off. Any idea why?
CHECK THE DARN GAS CAP 1ST !!!!! IF GAS CAP IS BAD, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS ! MY LOCAL TRACTOR DEALER CHARGED ME OVER $100 FOR FIXING THIS PROBLEM !!!! EVEN AFTER I EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT WAS HAPPENING.
