We frequently have wild visitors in our yard. We call this coyote, Sam. He has a mate we named Misty. They are very thirsty because we are having a drought.

Be very careful and watch any of your small house animals. Coyotes are known to make meals of small dogs and cats, even in broad daylight when they are hungry. When I lived in Michigan we had 3-4 packs of coyotes in our surrounding fields, with many sightings. Lovely to see and hear, but never the less, a wild animal.
