Wildlife: Monarch Butterfly

I was surprised to see a Monarch butterfly resting in my front yard at night. It was there for at least 5 hours that I kept checking. During a windy episode, it even moved to the other side of the driveway marker.

It had been a long time since I had seen a Monarch. I don't use any pesticides or herbicides or lawn chemicals, so maybe that's why I was lucky to see a Monarch again. What a lovely gift from God.
