This spring I put up a oriole feeder, with the hopes of attracting these beautiful birds. What a surprise we had, when they arrived. One came to the window, tweeting and pecking.
Our feeder was not near the window. The little bird did this several mornings, alternating between our kitchen and living-room window. I think he was thanking us in his own way, or he wanted to come in. :) Have a good day.

"Hello-is anybody in there"
I put up a feeder this year for the first time, and one of the little buggers is driving us crazy! I can hear it twittering and tapping at the windows all day!
We have a male baltimore oriole who has been here for about a week. All of a sudden today, he has started pecking at window or just sitting on window sill chirping.
Just getting up your Oriole been back and forth pecking for an hour and a half...
