We went on a trip and as we stopped and had something to eat and we heard something jump into the trash can. This little squirrel grabbed the apple and looked at us and said "I gotta eat too, you know!"

These "cute" rats-with-tails are so prolific in my neighborhood that they literally gnaw through garbage cans to get what they want. I see nothing endearing about them, but you can have ours if you want them. (10/06/2009)
