When using this to kill the weeds it will get into the soil and kill the roots of your plants. If you want to kill weeds in your garden the best way is to just pull them out. Afterwards, you can lay down some newspaper and cover this with plastic to keep the weeds out. You can add some bark on top of this. Make sure you can get enough water to the rest of your plants if you do this.

A solution of salt/vinegar/Dawn is used to kill everything growing in your garden/yard.

• If you are trying to kill individual weeds in your yard you may have to resort to hand pulling or hand spraying each weed.

• My son kills weeds in his front lawn with WD-40 and it works but would be expensive if used very often.
• Here is one suggestion from a popular site for killing single weeds:
• When using herbicides to kill weeds in your garden, you have to be careful not to also spray and kill surrounding plants. To isolate the weed you want to kill, cut a 2-liter soda bottle in half and place the top half over the weed you want to spray. Then direct your pumps spraying wand through the regular opening in the top of the bottle and blast away. After the spray settles down, pick up the bottle and move on to your next target. Always wear goggles and gloves when spraying chemicals in the garden.
