I have a 1943 Morse sewing machine that has a motor/light type wiring. I want to change the mechanical foot pedal to an electric control pedal. How can this be done? Please help, my husband tried and went to plug it in and machine runs without the pedal.

Judy listed the best instructions on changing your foot pedal but maybe you also need a manual for this machine.
I have not found a free manual (this is an old machine) but I did find several sites that sell the manuals. Most PDF manuals are about $10.00 which is not a bad price - if you need one.
