Your 'Woody Hibiscus' is a true Hibiscus. One of the older common names for it is 'Cotton Bush'. Two of the newer common names are 'Rose Of Sharon' and 'Althea'. It's real botanical name is 'Hibiscus Syriacus'. Maybe it was given that name because it originated near Syria. I don't know.
One thing I do know is that your arrangement is absolutely beautiful. The picture should be made into a print and framed.
