You have a couple of nice dolls but the doll market value dropped many years ago and due to number of dolls listed for sale it does not appear it will change anytime soon.
Similar dolls are occasionally be sold for $10-$35 so you might want to rethink selling these or maybe try selling on sites like Facebook Marketplace, offerup, letgo and start your price as high as you wish. You can always lower the price if necessary.

Shipping is always a problem as these dolls are very fragile and end up broken frequently.

eBay is the largest doll selling site in the world and as of today there is a total of 1,489,828 dolls listed for sale (all brands, sizes, styles totaled). Most of these will never sell - no mater the brand or asking price. The dolls that do sell may stay listed for months/years before a sale.

The largest doll market in the past was for young girls and, sadly, very few girls show any interest in dolls as they are into multi media starting from a very young age.
This only leaves buyers who just like dolls or those looking for a 'special' doll or collectors. Very few collectors are seeking just 'ordinary' dolls so it usually has to be a rare specimen for them to even give it a second glance.

Very few Grandmas are buying dolls for their granddaughters as they are probably trying to sell personal dolls that no family member wants to inherit.

There are presently 224 Goebel Betty Jane Carter dolls (more actually, as many sellers do not show the correct names in their listings) so you might check these out to see if you find one of your dolls listed for sale. You can place a 'watch' on any doll to see if it sells. The asking prices range from $13 - $500 but asking prices are just prices a seller would like to receive for their dolls as only a sold exact same item can be shown as a current value for that item. A sold item shows what someone was willing to pay for this item at some certain date.

Occasionally someone will pay a little more for a special doll they are looking for but you may notice that the majority of sale for this brand is for the cat doll and not a regular doll.

While usually agree with the others here on dolls, I find that the Bette Ball dolls sell better than most with on average of 1/2 of the dolls selling consistently on eBay for example. This is better than other brands, like, for example, DanDee dolls where only about 1/3rd of the listed dolls sell, and Ashley Belle dolls where less than 1/4th sell. This is recent... things in the market change quickly!

While I did not find your exact dolls to find exact sold prices, I suggest you start them at $50 and take best offer which could be as low as $15. All doll sales are supply and demand based so watch for when the fewest number of similar dolls are listed and sell yours.

There's a glut of dolls on the market, that is very true. I am seeing a very slight trend of more doll sales in this Covid world. Not like in the hey days but there is a slight uptick that as a reseller I am going to trend. I think people are looking for comfort and for many dolls offer that.

The critical think to remember in selling fragile items is these need to be packed like they are going off to war or they will arrive at their new home in a million pieces. Be sure to double box and weigh and measure so eBay accurately calculates postage.

There are hundreds of Betty Jane Carter dolls for sale. Because of so many and a slow market the dolls priced on ebay is the offering price not sold price. Most of them not selling over $25 in perfect, unopened packaged dolls. Maybe you could get a fair price in a yard/garage sale, no shipping cost!

The online market is flooded with dolls such as this. In recent years this market has dropped drastically and people are having a harder time selling dolls. There are some people who just want to get rid of the dolls they have and offer them for just $1, but they don't sell. The average selling price right now is between 5-15 dollars. The best way to sell these dolls is not online but locally in your area. Sell them at a garage sale or even a local swap meet. You will do better than trying to list them online to sell this way.
