Photo Description We've had more than our share of rain, lately. Much more. That means several overcast and gloomy days in a row. When the Sun does break through for a few precious seconds, and broadcasts its rays over a patch of yellow here and there, it does the body and spirit a world of good. Yeah, I think yellow can kinda grow on a person.
Yellow is not my favorite color. It should be. I have it everywhere this spring. It sorta grows on you, I think.

I LOVE yellow. Is my favorite color and always be. It makes me happy when I see yellow but unfortunately I don't have any yellow flowers in my garden :'(
Could you identify yellow flower plants and surrounding
greenery.. I like the combination and would like to plant
an area
thanks
heather
Thanks, 'Heather',
The ivy growing up the tree is 'Millennium'.
The small center plant is hosta. As there are at least 3 almost identical varieties, I don't know it's name (it was given to me). Pictured below is a mature leaf from that plant. You can Google the picture and pick the variety you like best.
The bulk of the bed is a yellow, black faced, Swiss Giant pansy, available at garden centers everywhere, Fall and Spring.
In June, the heat will kill the pansies. They will be replaced with white impatiens, similar to those shown below, only much larger.
I love all flowers (or I should say plants) but yellow flowers must have deep roots in my "person" because I'm instantly drawn to a yellow bloom anytime I see just a tiny clip.
