My zebra finch has had 5 eggs. I looked and there were 3 babies and two eggs. Then a couple of days later there are still 2 eggs, but I can't find the babies.

You can look deep into the nesting materials. The babies might have died and parents buried them. You may also find the dead babies outside the cage. So sorry to hear this.
You did not tell WHERE the Zebra Finch laid the eggs or where the nest is located. Or even when. If the 3 babies were born some time ago, they might have already flow the nest.
As for the other 2 eggs, has the mother been back to hatch them? Is the nest in a protected area where predators can not get to the young or the eggs?
I would watch them carefully if I were you!
Nest box is up high the babies were two days old but they have not been found. I can't find them at bottom of the cage. Very strange, one minute they're there, next they're gone.
Sounds like some other animal may have eaten the babies. Where were you keeping them? The mother will take care of her eggs.
