Black Bean SaladI have been eating more beans to save money and eat healthier. I cook dried beans and freeze in 1-can portions (1 3/4 cup.). I thaw in the refrigerator the night before I use them and it is as convenient as using the canned, at a fraction of the cost.
Recycle Magazines in a Picture FrameThis is another idea I came up with to use some of my vintage magazines. I was born in 1957 and all of these magazines are, month by month, from the year I was born. I had to "think out of the frame" to decide what to do with them and since I had a large picture frame, I decided to display them in it.

Sewing Machine Is Looping Threads on Underside?Can you tell me what I need to do to fix this issue? this is the under side of the fabric/top looks good. I tried increasing the tension and the loops got smaller but there were still threads loose. I inserted a newly filled bobbin but still getting this "mess".

What Breed Is My Dog?I adopted this cutie from an animal shelter and have no idea the breed. Whoever was the original owner dropped a litter off at the pound. They told me they think it is a Chihuahua mix but I think he has a little miniature pincher to him. Thanks everyone
Identifying French Saxon China?I didn't get a picture of the stamp, but it is NOT the helmet stamp, it shows some pottery in a circle. It states "The French Saxon China Co. Sebring, Ohio. 22K, gold USA, National Brotherhood Operative Potters."
