I love eggs that are perfectly cooked through on the outside and just slightly soft in the middle (not runny)! They are velvety smooth and have the perfect flavour.
Boil water in a large saucepan over high heat. Gently drop in eggs one at a time. Adjust heat to medium-high and cook eggs for 6.5 minutes. Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water and allow them to bathe for a couple minutes. Gently crack the eggs all over and peel from the wide end where there is a big pocket of air. Serve straight away.
To keep in the fridge, peel all the eggs and place in an airtight container. Use within 3 days.

I use my coffee maker to cook egg. I put the egg at the bottom, water and turn on. Since water does not boils, eggs are kept softer. My coffee maker takes about 15 to 20 minutes. You just have to figure out how long it takes to get your eggs the way you like.
Any time I make boiled eggs I start by placing the eggs in a saucepan filled with cold water. I bring the water and eggs gently to a rolling boil over med-high heat.
Place eggs in a cook pot, add cold water and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain water and cover with cold water to cool them down. Peel and enjoy.
