My dishwasher drains fine, but after a day or so I go to put more dishes in and I have water in the bottom. Any ideas why?
My dishwasher does that too. My guess is that it's a timer problem but why don't you call the manufacturer and ask them? Service men are expensive and if you have an older dishwasher go to a Sears outlet store & buy a new one for $200-$300. Good luck.
Thanks , I just got this one about 6 months ago at lowes I will give the manufacturer a call.

My dishwasher drips a little water when it pumps out the water. Is it do to lime or calcium deposits? My repair man just told me to put a tray under it.

That was a pretty lame effort by the repair man. My brother in law fixed my machine once as there was leaking, just steady drips, from one of the hose connections under the machine. He disconnected the hose, used a lubricant on the hose (Vaseline), put it back together, and it never leaked again.
I noticed water dripping from the bottom of the door when running. Someone told me I needed a new gasket. I looked at the gasket that runs horizontally across the bottom of the door and noticed a 6 inch gap in the middle. Is that normal? If it is the gasket does the inside door panel have to come off?
Thanks.
