Painted Window Panes
Recycled Painted WindowInstead of turning an old window into a decorative mirror, I decided to smudge up the glass with grey acrylic paint. I then finger painted "milk" bottles in each pane. This went well with my country kitchen/vintage decor.

Drink tubes
Use Recycled Drink Tubes For OrganizerRecently, I had the opportunity to organize a friend's pantry. To minimize space, I emptied all her drink mixes into a basket, leaving me with these wonderful tubes. I decided to take them and make a desk top organizer for my craft room.

Crock Pot Strap PatternA few of the newer crock pots come with a strap to hold the lid in place, but mine didn't. One day my crock pot turned over in the car, that's when I decided to crochet my own strap.

Toilet Planter
Garden: Toilet PlanterThis is a picture of a commode that I use as a planter with lovely impatiens planted in it. I think it's very pretty! The commode was about to be thrown away so my husband got it for free from the literacy council here in town.
