For a couple of years, my husband and I had very, very little cash flow and began going hungry at times, here and there. We never had a lot of food, but it only felt bad when we had nothing but dried noodles and water; rice, if we were lucky.

Braid Winter ScarvesI have found that by braiding two winter scarves together seperating them into three ends hanging down (it will be uneven but no one will notice), that it is much warmer. I secured it with a fancy hair elastic.

Cooked Chicken Instead Of Wet Cat FoodThe other day, the Kroger I was in had whole chickens on clearance, for 59 cents a pound. I will cook one, discard the bones and skin, dice it up and feed it to my cats, twice a day, instead of their can food.

Making Cleaning Ashtrays EasierMy husband smokes and the ashtrays are not fun to clean. A long time ago I heard that if you lightly spray a clean ashtray with furniture polish and allow to dry, it will make the surface of the glass or ceramic slippery and it will be a cinch to clean.
