When I receive junk mail with a postage-paid envelope included, I take the time to tear off the part of the page that has my name and address printed on it.
When I bring my trash container to the curb I pull one of the garbage bag ties (usually red or orange colored) to the outside of the side of the container so I can see it from my window.
Want to get rid of the stink? Stuff the shoes with newspaper. That's right. Newspaper. Shoes should be "stink-free" come morning!
Folks, as I read the letters from people frustrated over caterpillars in their gardens and then scrolled down to other articles about butterflies I was reminded how shortsighted the 'death-to-all-caterpillars' attitude is.
Here are several ideas I've learned over the years. Many of these are everyday common sense things to keep in mind that we already know about but others are, "Why didn't I think of that?" to use as added protection ideas.
ALWAYS remove your hard drive when getting rid of your PC. Even if you erase the hard drive, it will have data on it that still can be retrieved by a savvy computer tech.
