When your plant is getting tight in the pot (or when you purchase a plant like this one), you can easily get more plants by separating into more pots. This will allow room for your plants to grow, or is a great way to give some plants away as gifts.

Covering Chips on a TeapotI got a beautiful teapot on Freecycle. It had a noticeable chip on the end of the spout. If it had been anywhere else, I would have covered it with a Sharpie or some other kind of paint. However, since I am going to drink tea, I was concerned about the paint getting into the water.

Free Printing at the LibraryNot all libraries have this perk, but mine does. I can use their computer and print 50 cents worth every day. Black and white is 10 cents per page and color is 25 cents. When I need to make a copy of something, I take a picture with my cell phone and email it to myself. I then print it out from their computer. If I used their copy machine, it would be 25 cents per page.

Water Floral Arrangement with StrawWhen I receive beautiful flower arrangements, my first thought is "How am I going to water this without getting water all over the table or tablecloth that it sits on." In fact, it worries me so much I don't water them as often as I should. All you need to do is save your plastic straws. Insert one of the straws into the floral form and pour the water through it. No more water on the table and it's easy enough that you can do it every day until the flowers need to go out to the compost pile! Works on all floral arrangements. If your hands are shaky, use a smaller glass to pour the water into the straw.

Goop for Removing Paper Stuck on Wood SurfaceI tried these tips: olive oil, vegetable oil, and/or mayonnaise to remove paper that had been stuck on an antique cherry table. None of them worked. My husband said, "let's try 'Goop'." I rubbed a little bit of Goop on the area, let it set for a minute, and easily rubbed the paper off with an old washcloth.

Magazine Holders As Printer ShelfI recently found two wooden magazine holders. They make great corner shelves for an RV or She Shed or Man Cave. So tonight, I simply taped mine together and sat it under the printer/scanner. This gives me ample room for printer paper. Now if I were doing something else with it, I would use wood glue and perhaps better tape, if I still needed it.

Project Computer Screen on TVMy only splurge is yoga class. At first, teachers came over and corrected my alignment often. It was worth the price. Five years later, not so much. I read about yoga classes on the computer, but the screen is small. I knew there had to be a way to hook up the computer to the TV screen. I looked it up on YouTube and they said an HDMI cable would work. One end goes on the port on the TV and the other end goes on the port on the computer.

This is heavy rubber tubing from the hardware store; I use 5/8 inch diameter. Cut, with scissors, into approx 1/4 inch circles; you can get quite a few from 6 inches of tube.
