We call these two, the Bibs sisters, because they both have like a red bib on their necks, actually their throats, and it's adorable how they'll sit at a feeder together, and in this picture they'll even drink together from the same hanging feeder. They're female Anna's.

A heart shape in the sky because of the treeline and branches.
Heart in the TreesI decided to go for a walk on my lunch break. I'd never been to this park before. But it was calm and relaxing. During my walk I happened to notice this beautiful shape of a heart in the trees and at the base was a nest. It sent me a message to love life. And to keep my eyes open to the beauty around me.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens - fountains
Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens (Belmont, NC)This was a giant sprinkler at the Daniel Stowe gardens. My husband is getting a nice mist of water from this pond with a walk way built in the center. This was a very refreshing thing to do in August in the Carolinas.

Vendors selling flowers outside.
Market FlowersAfter exams, I glanced out the window to look for positivity and I found these vendors selling beautiful flowers. The flowers are not easily seen unless the picture is zoomed in. However, that's how we must look at life, even if we are surrounded with negativity, we need to zoom in for us to see the positivity it brings.

My Little Zen Garden
My Little Zen GardenI wanted to recreate a zen garden of my own. It has small water feature, with plants, rocks, a bamboo wind chime, and a Buddha statue to set the mood. It is so peaceful when the sprinkler is on.

Chrysanthemums - dark pink blooms
ChrysanthemumsThese are one of my favorite flowers (chrysanthemums) or mums for short. They live well here in South Carolina and I can always get them to bloom 2 times a season. They are so easy to grow and just require a little dead heading (removal of old flowers) to keep producing more. When the flowers are spent, trim back cutting down to about 3/4 of the stalk. This will bring new growth later.
