When you make pulled pork, you usually make more than you can use at the time. If you put it in containers, there is often too much for when you want it. When I make it, I put it on a cookie sheet in clumps'to equal one serving. That way, you can take out just how many you need and keep the rest frozen.

Identifying Which Earbud Goes WhereI got some pretty cool bluetooth earbuds last month. They come with these great ear guards. But, sometimes with my eyesight what it is, it's hard to tell which is left or right. I used to spend about 30 seconds a day trying to get it right.

How to Thoroughly Clean a Coffee CarafeI make coffee and put it in a carafe. It keeps it hot then warm, but I nuke it when I want a fresh cup. But coffee has a tendency to stain plastic, so before I donated it, I wanted to clean it good. For a long time, I didn't know how to clean all the pieces parts. When I realized you take the bottom off, then you can take out the silver inner parts and clean it all.

Hot Dog Bun French ToastAs I was cleaning out my freezer, I found one hot dog bun in the back. I usually make bread crumbs with it. Someone on one of my Facebook groups suggested making French toast with it. It was a great use of it.

Changing HVAC FiltersEver wonder when the last time you changed your HVAC filters was? Using a bright colored index card, I write the years, with corresponding months, leaving room for my date I changed the filters for the next three years. I make one for each filter location. I attach it to the wall with two hook and latch dots. I also attach a pen this way, so it's always at the ready!

Birdseed inside a bin, keeping it out of the snow.
Keeping Snowfall Off Bird SeedI was tired of the birdseed getting buried under the snow. I put a green recycle bin on its side (our city no longer uses these bins). I put in the bowl of birdseed and then put an unused shovel over the birdseed like an "umbrella" by putting the shovel handle through the railing. It has worked great, it has snowed several days and the seed never got buried.

Orange Juice Bottle VaseHere is a way to repurpose an orange juice bottle into a vase and bouquet holder. Cut the top of the bottle off about 4 inches or so depending on the size of the bottle. Once cut turn it around life a funnel and insert the flower stems as indicated. It helps the flowers spread out while still being held firmly. Place flowers on top of the vase and enjoy their fragrance ! :)

Banana ArtHere is a way to encourage your little one's to eat fruit. I spend some time with my preschooler in the morning drawing on the banana he will eat for lunch. That way we start the day sharing a few moments together and it reminds him that he is loved.

Hair Flat Iron for Wrinkled RibbonHere is a way to dewrinkle ribbon using a hair flat iron. Just pull the ribbon as you iron. I use my foot to hold the ribbon down. Use a water spray bottle if wrinkles are tough.

Flavored WaterThis is a trick I learned from my granddaughter. I put a tea bag in a quart jar of water, set it in the refrigerator and let it steep over night or longer. The next day, I have some great tasting flavored water to drink and I just add a little lemon juice to it. It is good and it helps me to be able to drink at least 2 quarts of water a day. One is flavored and the other is not.

Reusable Shopping Bag for Appliance CoverI had a vinyl cover for my food processor. It cracked and fell apart with age. I used a recyclable cloth shopping bag to cover it. I put the design side next to a wall, and tucked the handles in. I am pleased with the results.

Card To Lift Edge of Picture FrameSome picture frames have these little backings that you need to open. Using your fingers to open the backing can hurt after awhile, so this is what worked for me.

Baby Oil For A Dry NoseAs a little kid, I used to get bloody noses all the time. Especially in those dry winter months. But my mom would get me baby oil and I would put some on a Q-tip and put the oil in my nose. It worked wonders! They eventually stopped.

Clips To Hold Straps In SuitcaseIt drives me nuts when the straps that hold your clothing gets down under the clothes that you've already packed in your suitcase. Now I always clip the strap to hold them up until I have everything packed in there now. Makes it much easier and saves time when packing a suitcase.

Drag Your Clothes BasketWhen you are not suppose to bend over and have to walk with a walker or a cane or just have back problems, you may need some help to get the basket of clothes from the dryer to the bed or folding table. I needed a way to get the job done so I tied some old shoe strings to the clothes basket handle and pulled it to the bed. It works great for me.

Prevent Blanket Slippage in Dog CratesIf you line your pet's crate with blankets, throws, or towels and find they constantly slide around on the slippery plastic tray that comes with the crate, I have an inexpensive solution. I found an old exercise/yoga mat that I was no longer using, which I cut with scissors to fit the crate's plastic tray. Since my dog is small, I still have enough of the mat left to cut two more pieces, which I can trade out when one needs to be cleaned.

Kale in a soup.
Use That KaleI received a cut fruit arrangement and the greenery was kale - lots of kale! Instead of throwing it out to the wildlife, I decided to make Kale soup. Now, you may be thinking, it was just used for decoration in the arrangement, and you'd be correct. However, kale is food, and it was washed and used next to other foods so there is no reason on Earth not to use the kale from the arrangement also!

Using cardboard to reinforce an aluminum pan.
Reinforcing the Bottom of a Disposable PanI like to give baked goods as gifts in disposable containers. However, sometimes the bottoms are flimsy. To reinforce them I tape a cardboard cereal box or other thin cardboard box I have. It makes it easier to transport, and I don't have to worry that the bottom will bend out of shape.
