I am a 63 year old man (with emphasis on the old part) who has kind of been a handy man most of his life and have done a wide variety of jobs. I owned my own home repair/remodel business until an illness forced me to give it up a few years ago. Since then I have taken to doing less labor intensive things. I like to paint, renew, refurbish and trade quite a bit on ebay and Craigslist. I took up trying to grow vegetables again this year for the first time since I was a kid living at home and believe me, that has been a few years. Due to my illness, I had to sell off most of my tools but I am, through watching the online auction sites and that other one I mentioned, been able to reassemble a decent, yet incomplete, set that I am now using to hone my skills in other areas. I am semi-retired now so I don't have set schedule and in the summer, here in Texas, doing this stuff outside for very long isn't advisable. At any rate, I am always looking for good advice and willing to share what I know and have found with others.
