Beeping Smoke Detector?
A smoke detector thats been removed from the wired ceiling can only chirp if theres still a battery in it. If you removed (unplugged) it from the ceiling and theres no battery in it, and it still chirps, you have ghosts! I suspect its a different one chirping...
