Thank you for your comments on the tomatoes that had changed to dark red in the freezer. We did just what you said. Out to the garbage with them.

Hi Again...we freeze them whole. Just wash them off and core them and into freezer bags they go. Im sure there is air in the bags. We had never kept tomatoes that long before, usually make sauce during the winter or spring.
