My great-grandmother could raise a forest from a stick and a plug of mud; I on the other hand seem to kill everything. I killed a cactus my spiritual mother gave me when I got my first desk job. Now, I have a house plant given to me for my birthday '09 and I've managed to keep her alive. I named her "baby". Now, baby is dying because I got the bright idea to repot her using online tutorials. So, here I am at 1am, looking for more online tutorials to help me rejuvenate my baby.
I am a college sophmore living off campus. I start an internship this Winter and am pretty excited about it. I would like to learn to cultivate more than ideas, though, and would LOVE for baby to be the first living specimen that I successfully raise, if you will.
I don't have much to say, but that I see this site is more than gardening...it's actually a how-to hub, which I think is really cool because gramma used to say that you can't depend on no man to do everything, so I might as well learn how to do something. Hopefully, this site will assist me in my journey.
