Hi! I'm a contented 53-year-old female, a confirmed frugalista in Kettering, OH. I think I was born this way, ha-ha. I work from my home at night as a medical transcriber (done this for 30 years now) which suits my lifestyle just fine, since I love being outdoors in the daytime, usually working in my yard or walking the hills in my neighborhood during the day when not helping babysit my two grandnephews and my mom. I tell everybody when my car quits one of these days, I will probably not be purchasing another, I've gotten so used to walking to get everything I need, good for me and for the environment, and there's a bus stop to take me to the next town if I want to go there. How's that for being good to the environment. I wish everybody thought like we do, don't you? I enjoy this website tremendously and am glad to be part of it.
