Hey I need some advice. My 12wk old little girl had just gotten shots monday. Well, wednesday she quit eating. I got her to eat and drink very little last night. So, I took her to her vet 1st thing this morning. They took test and told me she had tested positive for parvo. I just couldn't stop crying. She is my baby. She is so tiny, and I'm scared for her. So, I went ahead and had her put into the hospital. I feel like I have abandoned her. I have been with her everyday since she was born. Let me give you so background info on her. She was 12wks Tuesday. She is a mix breed. Her mom is a pug/chihuahua mix[7lbs] and her dad is an imperial shihtzu[4lbs]. She came from a litter of seven and she was one of the bigger ones at 3oz. All her litter mates died. She is the only survivor. She is a fighter. A friend brought her dog over and she gave my baby sarcoptic mange. So, I take her to the vet and she gives her liquid ivermectin. I gave Razyn her 1st dose and she started walking like she was drunk. I called the e.r. vet and she was angry. She told me that a stupid vet had given me medicine to strong for my baby. At the time she weighed 1lb. And the vet said give her 1cc every other day. She almost killed my baby. So, she has survived again. Now she has to fight parvo. It just doesn't seem right. She now weighs 1 and 1/4 lbs. I said she was tiny. But she looks so cute.She is my baby. She looks like a long haired chihuahua. The only thing she got from her dad was her colors and markings. But everyone says she looks like a perfect little apple head chihuahua. But she's not. I need advice on what to do. I need to know what about when she comes home. I have been praying hard to Jehovah God and I know he will answer my prayers. I give HIM all the praise for her making through everything. She's a little miracle. She's my miracle. Can anyone please give me some advice? I have no clue what to expect.
