Value of China Plate?
So this is a Homer Laughlin plate - H48N8 - this code says August 1948 made in Newell Virginia and the 8 is the plant number -- as for value - a couple of searches I did showed single dinner plates for sale between $20-$50

To my knowledge no. My grandmother was from Edinburgh, wales and grandfather from Poland. It belonged to and was used by her. Her father was a surveyor for the royal family, but not much more is known.
