Hi, I've been reading this site for a long time with WEBTV/MSNTV. I thought I would join the site using my computer.
I'm 73, retired from the grocery and also the floral business, have done some traveling/camping with Hubby who I met online. I've taught myself to use a computer and am currently teaching beginner computer classes at two senior centers in my area as well as giving private lessons and doing some computer repairs.
I like to cook, like digital photography, bird watching and backyard feeding, sitting in the backyard swing or one one of the decks. I am newly into exercising and eating properly. Having been recently diagnosed with severe COPD, I have decided it is not too late to be nice to my body. :-)
Thanx to the generosity of my sis in law, I started gardening a few years ago and my gardens expand each year. I had no clue gardening could be such work but the rewards are well worth the labor.
I have a 52 year old son and a 19 year old grandson.
The older I get the more I want to save money and have fun doing so.
I am looking forward to browsing the boards when there is time. And I'll post my picture when I find something worth posting.<G>
