Fletcher is one of the founders of ThriftyFun. I have been working on this site in various incarnations since 1997! I work primarily on the back end so there aren't many articles written by me, but when something goes wrong I'm the one who gets called.

I have been working hard on modernizing our web serving platform. Over the years we've gone from Macintosh desktops co-located in the back hall of a computer store to virtual servers using cloud services. Eventually, the site will be run entirely from the cloud without any dedicated servers at all.

When I'm not working on the site I can usually be found working on Lego models, watching Doctor Who or Dark Shadows episodes from the sixties, or listening to electronic music. I have a degree in Mathematics with a focus on Computer Science from MIT.
