Drying Lettuce?
You can lay a few pieces of lettuce at a time on a paper towel then lay another on top of it and gently press them dry. It works great.
Defrosting Frozen Pancake Batter?
I would suggest making the pancakes ahead of time and freezing them on cookie sheets then putting in a ziploc bag. That way you can pull out as many as you want and pop in the microwave and they are read to eat. Sherry
Keep Recipes in a Three Ring Binder
I too have a 3 ring binder of my recipes. I started it about 3 weeks ago. I bought paper with a weathered scroll on it that I print my recipes on. Then I put them in page protectors along with dividers. I am really happy with it I have over 200 recipes so far...
