Scenery: Bleeding HeartsI live next to a stream that comes down the mountain and empties into the lake across the street. We have a garden along the bank and every season is just so beautiful there.
Backyard Visitor (Fawn)This adorable baby showed up in our yard last week. Our backyard borders the gamelands, and we have seen adult deer walk down our driveway to graze in the fields across the street. We figured momma deer left the baby in our care, so she could feed and run errands.
Blossoms by the FenceI drive down this road often, and always see something that attracts my attention. The blossoms were so vibrant next to the bare tree, stone wall and fence - it was picture perfect!
New Tenants in the BirdhouseThis is a deck garden with an ornamental birdhouse on the railing. Last summer it was claimed by a couple who used it to start their family! The close proximity to humans didn't bother them at all.
Straw Hat SnowmanThis snowman can hang on a wall indoors or on an outside door instead of a wreath. It's very easy to make.
Buttermilk FallsThe quarantine was getting to me, and I decided to go for a short ride. I live near a dam and nature preserve, and felt confident that it wouldn't be populated. I took a leisurely drive enjoying the beauty of the area, and then I came to the falls. We had quite a bit of rain over the weekend, so there was a lot of water spilling down. Such a beautiful sight.
3D Fall Wall ArtI had some dollar store pumpkins that I embellished with flowers and leaves, and used them as table centerpieces for a party. In my craft stash, I had some 8x10 burlap canvases that I tried to paint, but found it to difficult because the surface was so rough. I then came up with the idea to combine the 2 and create something new.
Butterfly on ConeflowersThese flowers attract so many butterflies and bees. These plants are very necessary for the well being of the bee and butterfly population.
Foam Dice BunniesCover and decorate foam dice with balloons to make a cute and easy bunny. In winter, use white balloons and make them into snowmen.
