I like to garden. I grow tomatoes, peppers, mini-pumpkins, and sometimes I will try something like green beans, beets, and I want to try scallions or green onions. I have over 20 years of gardening experience. I am currently learning to go more "green" with my gardening. I currently use commercial fertilizer and water-soluble fertilizer, but I do not use any pesticides or fungicides.
I am married.
I also love dogs. I started caring for dogs when I was a little girl. My dogs are so good, that people started threatening to steal them. One time someone did steal one of my dogs. I found her and brought her back home. I am not a breeder, Veterinarian, Vet Asst., I just love dogs. When I was little, my dad knew a married couple who had a female dog that got pregnant. They couldn't handle it, and my dad knew I could. I took care of the female and her puppies, and I found homes for all of the puppies. Then the female went back to her owners. Later on, I had a dog who had a litter, and I took care of all of them until they were adopted out. Yet, my parent's kept giving my dogs away. I had several. I even "shared" a dog.
I'm all grown up now--and middle aged. I have dogs now, too. I don't "circus train" my dogs, but I do take very good care of them. I have been with the same Vet for well over 10 years now. I have never had to call them often, but when I do, they are there for me and my dogs.
I'm not rich or fancy. I'm just me with my dogs; and in the spring/summertime I garden.
I will share my beloved, beautiful, precious, Munchkin with you in 2 photos. Fate brought her to me, and I cared for her until her death at 6:40 am Eastern Standard Time on September 18, 2008. The fleece throws in the photos are because my Vet Asst. told me that Munchkin, being such a small dog, is a "burrowing" type of dog. I had to move the fleece throws so I could get photos of her.
