Keeping Slugs from Eating Hostas?
I sprinkle cornmeal on the ground around the plants and between the plants and their hiding places. They prefer the cornmeal over the plants and they eat so much, swell up and die. Plus, its not harmful to cats and dogs. I do this every couple of days.
