Being a single mom of four with 8 grandkid I have always be thifty, my best friend was tightwad gazzette before the computer, now it my companion. My kids never suffered from my thirfty scheming they thought I was a liitle strange when I'd slam on my brakes for some find on the curb, but they understood. I have found that so much can be saved and still have a good life that I've tried to pass it on to the kids. As a parent we always want them to have better than we did, we give and teach things that we have learned through trial and error. I wish that I had been taught while I was young how to save money, invest and still have pleasures in life, that I have been able to teach my kids and grandkids so it would have been natural instead of a constant struggle, Though learning has been an adventure the reward of the fellow traveler has been amazing.
