John Deere Mower Dies When Engaging Clutch or Drive Gear?
I had the same problem. It was idling rough too. When I put it in gear it stalked. When I engaged the blade it stalled. I replaced the fuel filter, dumped the gas in it, replaced the air filter and I am back in business.
