Simply Stuffed BearsI am making these for a charitable donation to a local police station to give to children who may be facing a traumatic situation. They are simple to make and you can use small scraps of fabric and ribbon and a little stuffing, so they are inexpensive. Just requires your time.
"Gotcha" (Chipmunk)While at the botanical gardens in Tempe, Arizona, I saw the chipmunk along the trail having a little snack and striking a pose! Gotcha little guy!
Tea Time - Tissue Box Tea PotThis is an original recycled tissue box teapot idea with inspiration from online paper craft teapots. It will be used for my future daughter-in-law's tea party, garden-themed bridal shower. The teapot will hold little plastic packets of citrus tea mix for the shower guests to take home.
Embroidery Floss OrganizerThis is a way to organize little bits of leftover embroidery floss. Use the plastic holders that come on packages of bread. Wrap the floss around the center of the plastic holder. Store in a plastic craft container with dividers and organize by color.
Vinyl Record Rack for Organizing Plastic ContainersI am always battling with keeping my plastic containers and lids organized. While at the thrift store, I purchased an old 45 record holder with the idea of using it to organize the lids. This is the before and after pictures.

Tyre PuddingA "handed down" English main dish pudding recipe from my great grandmother Lydia Butcher Seager. I had my first bite of the pudding when I was about eight years old. I was hesitant because it didn't look very appetizing. But I was wrong! It was delicious. The salt pork crust is the secret to the recipe's great flavor.
Halloween MasksI made these for my daughter-in-law's special needs class from leftover scraps of felt. I looked online for ideas for decorating the masks and found a basic pattern.
Old Jewelry PendantThis was made from old jewelry and charms that I have been collecting.
Zig Zag Christmas Table RunnerThis table runner could be used for any holiday themed table runner. I had a lot of Christmas fabric so I made a Christmas themed one. It was a fun way to use up scraps other than making a traditional nine patch block, etc.
Tablet HolderThis project makes a handy addition to the kitchen if you are following a recipe from the internet while cooking or it can be used anytime you need to prop up the iPad while you are doing something.
Square in Square Quilt BlockEasy quilt block pattern with a square inside.
Acorn ElvesThese are acorns I gathered near Salem, Massachusetts this fall while on a trip there. They came from my husband's ancestor's property where they settled in 1634. I wanted to make some kind of keepsake out of them and found this idea. So Christmas decorations seemed like a fun idea. I also crafted with my 11-year-old granddaugheter and she had fun making them too.
