I am a grandmother and stay-at-home wife. I love, love, love sewing;
especially for my grandchildren - actually, I do embroidery by hand,
smocking and handsewing - love the heirloom patterns for little
girls and often make monogramed pillowcases as gifts from my
hands.........Never did learn machine embroidery. I have 5 grown
daughters, fish tanks, two dogs, and a cat (the King). Especially
enjoy getting sewing tips - game for shortcuts and quick fixes.
My best friends are my girls. My hobby is definitely sewing -
trying new techniques - having fun right now making the cutest
pinafore with whipped rickrack; embroidery, and rickrack daises....
Makes my heart swell when I see my granddaughters in my
outfits. Would enjoy hearing from others and exchanging ideas.
