What is the difference between the American Legion and the VFW?
My father was enlisted but recieved a medical discharge due to injuries during boot camp. Am I eligible to join either the VFW or the American Legion? Or did he have to actually serve an amount of time? I would very much enjoy being a part of the auxillary...
