Hello. I'm 33 years old. Married for 14 years. Have 3 kids. A girl and 2 boys. Ages 15, 13, and 7. I am a Sunday School Teacher, Pioneer Club Teacher ( a bible study program we have similar to boy/girl scouts), in charge of crafts every year at our church's VBS. Enjoy making crafts out of recycled materials. I also love Thriftyfun!
Craft Project: Scrubbie Flower CardAn easy card to make your mom for Mother's Day. This is an inexpensive craft to make if you don't have a lot of money to spend on a card. The pot scrubbers only cost $1.00 for 4 in a pack.
Best Dad I Ever "Saw" MagnetThis is an easy recycled craft for Father's Day that kids can make for their dad out of an empty Pringles container. Since you are using hot glue, an adult needs to help.
Father's Day BearHere is a quick and simple craft to make for dad for Father's Day out of a recycled honey bear.
Recycled Potpourri JarAn easy and inexpensive craft to make for mom for Mother's Day. Cover your work area with newspaper. Fill a clean baby food jar with potpourri. Use the dip container lid as a stencil. With a Sharpie marker, trace a circle around the dip container lid on the tulle.
Sombrero BirdfeederThis is a cute recycled craft for "Fiesta" Bible School or if you're having a Dora the Explorer or Go Diego Go party, this could be a decoration for your party or craft for the kids to do at the party.
Baby Shower Buggy FavorThis baby buggy is made from styrofoam egg cartons and only costs pennies to make. You can sit them on the tables at your baby shower and fill them with mints or little candy.
