My Roscoe Beagle Christmas TreeThis small cedar tree sprouted in our side yard a few years ago, I decided to put a small red Christmas ornament on it and call it my Roscoe Beagle Christmas tree. We had a Beagle named Roscoe. It is a "take-off" of the famous Beagle cartoon series with his friend Charlie!
Rose Arbor Christmas DecorationsThe roses at each end of my rose arbor are very young and have not climbed over the rose arbor so therefore at holiday times I decorate the arbor to reflect the holiday. At Christmas time I made a plywood ornament and the word Joy and then put other items to commemorate the holiday.
Seasonal Bird Bath DecorationI decorated a bird bath with small pumpkins, gourds, dried leaves, twigs, and a pot of winter flowers. Other holiday decor can be used. A festive ribbon and bow could be tied at the base of the birdbath to add more color.
The Bracelet Legacy to a Florence NightingaleMy oldest daughter Angela lost her home in a horrific fire and was downsized to unemployment in her job. She made the decision to return to college and pursued a nursing career. I presented her my high school graduation charm bracelet at graduation.
I Hope You Dance to HeavenMy sister was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2000. She was not expected to live over one year, but God gave us seven years to watch her journey through this cancer and her spiritual journey to Heaven. The last Thanksgiving that my sister was on this Earth, she was wheelchair-bound and I was asked by her to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for her and her family.
Woody Hibiscus and Hydrangea ArrangementI picked the hibiscus blossoms and made an arrangement with dried oak leaf hydrangea blossoms.
