I go by zoodad because, while I like animals, my wife loves them. We have had many pets over the years of our marriage and for our children, and since our children have hit the teen years, my wife has started volunteering at the local animal shelter. We have taken in and nursed back to health more cats (and kittens) and dogs (and puppies) than I can count, (and she has been volunteering less than a year)!
