I am a 56 year old disabled, self educated Architect and environmental activist and green technology designer. My 24 year old son, also disabled, lives with me and also works from home. He is assisting me with the Affordable Homes Project and sales and installation of 3rd generation anaerobic & gasification technologies that turn manure into bio-fuel. in local farms.
Before the arthritis I was a carpenter, plumber and contractor.
My main hobby is fishing and my son's is playing bass and guitar in local bands which is a challenge for a young man with agoraphobia and severe panic condition.
When our conditions flare up or, more commonly, the health care system and incompetent doctors let us down we have to be creative with our financing and shopping. Like using painted car hub caps as ceiling medallions around light fixtures, selling home made lures, bait, snacks, and coffee while fishing ourselves. (You get big bucks for riverside hot coffee at 3 am during fall fishing contests)
