Have a german shepherd, Andre. who sheds 24/7 12 mos., plus 4 cats. (German Shepherds HAVE to be with their human ALL the time,) except at night, when he sleeps with his back to the front door! Owns my Honda FIT and must go everywhere. A gentle soul, don't know what he'd do with an intruder, probably get his soccer ball and ask to play!
BUT, Always cleaning. Dog hair, cat adventure messes, dirty dishes, etc. And as I am home a lot, my home tends to get cluttered. Need cleaning, storage, cooking tips. Didn't cook for myself for 25 years, except for spaghetti and such.
Spend summers gardening, lawn care, walking my dog.
Winters have been tough past 4 years. Difficult. But I make it by going outside every day, no matter if it's 90 degrees or -10 degrees to accommodate my body to the temperatures! Love movies, WWII buff both Pacific and European campaigns. Traveling is a passion. Traveled to Asia, Caribbean, British Isles, France, Northern Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Canada, Guadalajara Mexico, Cancun, drove across Canada -Atlantic to Pacific shore and returned via American states.
Love COFFEE and I need a brand of coffee that matches the lovely coffees of France.
Best FOOD--Scandinavia. The FISH! Ate caviar every day and all sorts of fish, salmon. Have been vegetarian for 40 years, love it, but on a low-carb diet so I've been cooking some meat, making protein shakes.

Have a gorgeous chicken palace in the back, but lost the remainder of my flock of Silkies this spring. A mother fox feeding her kits. They get very greedy. No chickens right now, just more poop to clean up! And they are not cost effective for selling eggs-cost of layer pellets is high, plus you can't just free range them as they don't get calcium to make shells hard. A few chickens got broody and hatched some gorgeous x-bred chicks.
Live on 8.5 acres in ranch-style new home, rear lot, at very end of dead end street! Quiet. Love to create flower gardens. Nice acres of woods in the back to explore with dog. Rural area. Rural me!
Yes, I get out to the restaurant/bar close by and make good friends. Love to talk with strangers!
