I burned popcorn in my microwave and the inside is now stained yellow. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this out?

Acetone will take care of the yellow stain.

After having tried 3 or 4 other ideas, Acetone FINALLY removed the very black soot from my microwave!! Thanks so much!
