I am planning on getting a pressure canner for next year and I wanted to see what canners other people use and recommend. I have done quite a bit of research online and it seems the All American brand canners are the best built and seem to last a lifetime.
Amazon has the 921 for $199 now with free shipping (by far the best deal I've found on the All American brand). I know you can find them at estate sales and rummage sales. I've been looking for over a year now and can't find any in my area. So I think I want to just buy one new. Any other canners you would recommend? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

You are actually ahead to buy new I think; you might check with your local county extension office. They are a fabulous resource! Ours have canning masters who can answer all your questions you might have re canning and I would ask them what they think and/or recommend!
Buying old is buying problems that someone else had. Your gaskets get old, the valve gets old, etc. Safety is first when canning, esp pressure canning. Agree with MzScarlett. Extension service can help. There are better prices than Amazon right at your local farm and home stores. Buy local and they can help you local if issues arise.
Good canning!
