What's better a porcelain or ceramic (glass) gas cooktop? I have an electric ceramic top that I plan to replace with a gas cooktop and wondered if the "old fashioned" gas porcelain top would be a better choice.
Most of them today are glass, but there still are some porcelain models available. Other than cost, why would someone choose porcelain over glass? Can anyone recommend a particular gas cooktop? I don't want to go too high end.
