Making Tissue Paper Centerpieces?

I saw at a party store, centerpieces made out of tissue paper mostly for kids birthday party. They were around $13.00 each. Does any one know how to make these centerpieces. I want to make two for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. Please Help!

Pinatas are hollow paper mache pieces decorated on the outside with tissue loops or ruffles. Go to your library and ask the reference librarian for a book with directions for pinatas. Usually they are filled with hard candies and children take turns hitting them with sticks until they break, but there's no reason they couldn't be used as centerpieces.

Are you talking about the honeycomb ones? I am clueless, too, but I suggest you hit the dollar store!
