Even if a woman is only expecting, she is still a mommy. Here is a gift that you can make on your computer that will be useful and help her pass the time.
Most computers have a calendar program built in. You can schedule events, most will even let you count down to the day of the event. Why not set the computer to count down until the big day. Online at most of the freeware sites, you can download a calendar that you can print. Depending on how far out the big day is from Mother's Day, why not make her a calendar that you can print out. Choose one of the big ones with the large squares so she can write notes on it.
She can note doctor's appointments and all the other things that she will like to remember when the baby was just rolling around in her stomach; perhaps when she had a special day shopping for the baby or when her best friend gave her a wonderful gift. Also most will let you write something under the title for the month. Why not write something for each month. Here are some suggestions:
Print the calendar in landscape mode and then staple it to large piece of cardboard and decorate it with pictures of all of her family as far back as you have pictures or with different beautiful pictures of babies. (I get tons of them in my email each day, just click on the picture and click on "Save As" and name it. It wil make opening FWD's more fun anyway.) Put five or six on a page and the print. You can then cut them out and make a collage with them.
Before you give it to her grab a couple of dates and write her a special message just from you. A couple for each month. They can be as easy as "I love you", or "Number 1 Wife", "I am so happy", "Can hardly wait", you get what I mean.
