So many ways to vary this delicious pizza pie and it is quick to make.
Spread your pizza crust in a greased 9x13 inch pan bringing the crust up the sides an inch or so. Bake 5 minutes; spread with softened cream cheese. Top with your favorite pie filling. My home canned apple is our favorite. Bake another 10 minutes or until the crust is a nice golden brown.
We prefer the thick crust, but you can use any crust you like. Remember the crust only cooks 15 minutes so whatever fruit you use has to be done in 15 minutes also.
Another variation for the pizza crust is to spread with butter after cooking the first 5 minutes then sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar. Finish baking and enjoy!
